“Se non ti appassioni a tuoi sogni, è improbabile che tu li raggiunga”; così Duglas Kirkland rispondeva ad una domanda di un suo intervistatore. Ed è vero. La passione per quello che fai rende tutto meno pesante.
Nella fotografia è così. L’anima e il tuo essere, sono alla base della riuscita di un ritratto o di uno shooting; da quello emerge la tua essenza e quello che riesci a tirare fuori da chi sta davanti all’obiettivo.
Questa è, per me, la fotografia. Rappresentare l’essenza del momento e l’emozione che il soggetto può esprimere.
"If you are not passionate about your dreams, you are unlikely to reach them"; so Duglas Kirkland answers a question from one of his interviewers. And it's true. The passion for what you do makes everything less heavy.
That's how it is in photography. The soul and your being are the basis for the success of a shooting or a portrait; from that emerges your essence and what you can pull out of who is in front of the lens.
This is, for me, photography. Represent the essence of the moment and the emotion that the subject can express.
